"When I was about 6 I rode my first roller coaster and quickly became fascinated with how they work, the design and science behind them and other aspects of the entertainment industry. From then on, I knew I wanted to go into some form of engineering to try to get as close to accomplishing that goal as possible. I graduated in 2012 with a degree in Industrial Engineering and worked directly in the manufacturing field for 3.5 years at Volvo Construction Equipment. As of January 2016, I accepted a role as a Mechanical Designer at Tait Towers.
The biggest piece of advice I can give to anybody looking to get into the industry is to keep trying and making connections, yet making the most of any experience you have in front of you. I knew the industry of my first job wasn't where I saw myself forever, but if I hadn't taken advantage of opportunities and experiences which were in front of me there I definitely wouldn't be where I am now."
