"I never cease to be amazed by the amount of passion and dedication shared by everyone who is fortunate enough to work in the themed entertainment industry. After co-founding Penn State's TPEG, I've been excited to watch the group mature over the years and have the opportunity to interact professionally with a growing number of alumni from the founding class, as well as members who graduated after my time. I'm looking forward to watching the group as it continues to expand and serve as a pathway for members to join the industry. My own time in the industry has been an interesting path from being an attractions host at Space Mountain through Disney's college program, completing both my B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering at Penn State, working with the Entertainment Design and Analysis group at ATA Engineering, to my current position as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with Walt Disney World Design and Engineering. I am also very passionate about volunteering with the ASTM F24 committee in both a technical capacity, as well as through the committee's student member program. When I'm not occupied by my interest in themed entertainment, I'm usually trying to relive my 4 years with the Penn State Marching Blue Band by keeping in touch with music through piano, or toying with G-scale model trains.
